This kit includes everything you need to get started: an 80mm spindle mount, 2.2kW spindle, VFD, spindle chiller, plumbing, wiring, gas strut kit, and the 80mm Sweepy Dust Boot. With full support from Carbide 3D, installation and operation are seamless, giving you confidence in both performance and reliability. The spindle uses ER-20 collets and supports cutters up to 1/2″ (12mm) in diameter, opening the door to a wider range of tooling and machining strategies.
Performance is at the heart of this system. The spindle operates between 8,000 and 24,000 RPM, with speed fully controlled via your G-code for precision machining at every step. The VFD enclosure includes built-in AC filtering, while the included adapter board allows effortless integration with Carbide Motion for spindle speed control. Please note that this kit requires a 220V outlet for the VFD and the water chiller. Additionally, 9 liters of coolant are needed but not included.
