The Phidgets 4-20mA Adapter facilitates the integration of 4-20mA industrial sensors with an Analog Input or VINT Hub port. This adapter board allows for the connection and powering of 4-20mA sensors through its provided terminals. It measures the current passing through the attached sensor and converts it into a voltage range of 0 to 5V. The adapter internally generates +15V from a 5V supply to power the connected sensor, thereby eliminating the necessity for an external power source.
