The BlueRobotics Watertight Enclosure Tubes – 130 mm (5″) Aluminum – 500 Mm (19.6″) – 500 M are designed for use with the 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 Series Watertight Enclosures. These tubes are available in various lengths and are constructed from either clear cast acrylic plastic or anodized 661-T6 aluminum. This second generation of tubes features precision machined O-ring interfaces, a locking cord, and an anti-rotation mechanism, ensuring a reliable and consistent fit with the sealing flange. Rated for depths up to 95 meters, these tubes offer a significant upgrade over their predecessors.
Both the acrylic and aluminum options are engineered with precision machined O-ring interfaces at each end, providing a smooth surface finish that guarantees proper sealing between the O-ring flange and the tube. Additionally, the ends of the tubes are machined to include a gland for a locking cord and a slot for cord insertion. This slot also serves as an anti-rotation feature, aligning with a corresponding feature on the flange to maintain a consistent orientation and prevent any potential damage to the contents of the enclosure.
These tubes are available individually and can be configured into a complete watertight enclosure. Due to the precision machining of the interfaces, custom lengths are not available.
