The Carbide 3D Shapeoko 5 Pro 4×2 CNC Router w/o Router is a high-performance CNC Router that is equipped with all the necessary tools to precisely cut materials such as wood, plastic, and aluminum. This machine is designed for continuous operation, ensuring maximum productivity. It boasts a larger size, with a width of up to 4 feet, which allows for larger projects or the opportunity to nest more parts together for longer machine operation.

The Shapeoko 5 Pro is not merely a CNC Router, but a comprehensive system that includes hardware, software, accessories, and training, all of which are supported within the USA. This machine is versatile and can work with a wide range of materials, including but not limited to wood, plastic, aluminum, brass, wax, foam, stone, and ceramic.

This machine is capable of executing simple 2D profiles, cutting pockets, creating inlays, V-carving, engraving, drag engraving, detailing, and 3D carving. It is equipped with a Hybrid Table that features T-slot workholding and a set of clamps.

The Shapeoko 5 Pro features a BitSetter, a system designed to facilitate tool changes through a combination of custom hardware and software. Additional features include LED lighting under the gantry for improved visibility, a dust collection system, a gantry shift for joinery, and an accessory mount.

The machine is constructed from a rigid base, custom extrusions, linear rails, and ballscrews. It utilizes HG-15 linear rails on every axis and 16mm ballscrews with a 20mm pitch on the X and Y-axis. The Z-axis employs a 1610 ballscrew, enabling the machine to easily lift a heavy 80mm spindle.

The machine also comes with Carbide Create, a comprehensive 2D design and machining program.

The Shapeoko 5 Pro operates with a trim router as a spindle. The Carbide Compact Router is recommended for use, however, any router with a 65mm diameter, such as the Makita RT0701C, is compatible. Please note this product does not include any router.
