The FingerTech Individual Red Urethane Sumo Wheel 2 inch A45has been innovatively redesigned as of October 2023 to feature a separate wheel and hub. This allows for the interchangeability of the wheel between robots with varying motor shaft sizes, eliminating the need to purchase an entirely new set of wheels.
This product is a result of the demand for larger Sumo Wheels, drawing from the extensive experience in molding mini-sumo wheels. The wheel boasts of high-traction polyurethane, which is molded around a meticulously machined and anodized aluminum rim.
The black anodized aluminum rims are designed with a machined pair of rings and captive through-slots, ensuring the tire tread remains securely in place. The ShoreA45 tires, while still smooth and grippy, are stiffer and harder to tear, making them suitable for applications where the wheels might be exposed to potential damage, such as rough terrain or interaction with other robots.
