The BlueRobotics 150mm Watertight Aluminum Enclosure Tube (3-Inch) is made from anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. This tube represents a significant improvement over the previous generation of watertight enclosure tubes.
It features precision-machined O-ring interfaces at each end, which ensure a consistent and reliable fit with the sealing flange. The smooth surface finish of the tube guarantees proper sealing between the O-ring flange and the tube. The ends of the tube are also machined to include a gland for a locking cord and a slot for cord insertion.
The slot for cord insertion also serves as an anti-rotation feature, which aligns with a feature on the flange. This design keeps the flange in a consistent orientation with the tube and prevents the user from rotating the flange, thereby avoiding any potential damage to the contents of the enclosure.
