Delta and Scara robots are best suited for this Control Box, as well as fixed robots that are in continuous operation and have access to a compressor. Suction cups can also be used due to the additional connection. The grippers are very robust and can be operated at a speed of over 120 cycles per minute without any issues. This Control Box allows the operation of the following SoftGripping product lines: Educational, SoftActuator and SoftGripper, but it is also applicable for other product lines.
On the front, the current pressure can be read in the pressure display and adjusted via a rotary knob. On the back of the unit are the pressure input and two outputs. The outputs control the position of the fingers. You can switch between three positions: Grip, Open, and Relax.
