The 36mm Diameter High Torque 12V Planetary Gear Motor, 60RPM is a compact and cost-effective motor and planetary (epicyclic) gearbox combination, with a speed and torque output that makes it suitable for use as a drive motor in robotics applications up to 60kg. A long output shaft, 8mm in diameter, enables easy mounting of wheels, pulleys, and other accessories.
The motor can be operated at anywhere between 6V and 30V DC. Operating characteristics are given for operation at either 12V or 24V DC.
This motor is smaller and higher speed, making it popular among robotics hobbyists and special effects designers. The long output shaft is designed to make mounting as easy as possible; however, it is important to ensure that any larger overhanging loads are independently supported.
Two copper tabs at the back of the body can be used to solder or crimp wires to. We also offer an option for 500mm long silicone insulated leads (1mm2) to be installed ready for use. Please allow for one extra working day to process your order if a lead option is added, since these are soldered and insulated to order.
